Every beautiful product starts with passion, luck and sometimes an accident. Just a few years after the new Turkish Republic was founded the author Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı aka Halikarnas Balıkçısı (pen-name, “Fisherman of Halicarnassus”) was exiled to Bodrum. A very small village in those days turned out to be an early passage to heaven. Then the most unique travel product of Turkey was born “Mavi Yolculuk” or “Blue Cruise.” Yup, a cruise along the turquoise shores of Turkey. It’s an escape from the drabness of the hectic lives we live. Here is a picture for you: on the Blue Cruise one sails along the southwestern Turkish coastline into solitary bays, crystal clear and virgin waters, picturesque small villages and places of antiquity.
